Marvin Wheeler

President Cybraics

Marvin is the President of Cybraics, an advanced security analytics and artificial intelligence company, where he is leading the team in commercialization the world’s first advanced security analytics and artificial intelligence platform, delivered as a service. With an intimate understanding of industry best practices, Marvin was a member of the National Security Telecommunications Advisory Committee (NSTAC) Scoping Subcommittee. He was Executive Director and helped found the Open Data Center Alliance and sits on the advisory board for both Madison Dearborn Partners and Intel Capital. Prior to Cybraics, Marvin held various senior executive positions with Terremark, from Chief Strategy Officer, to Chief Operations Officer and President of Terremark’s U.S. Commercial Business Unit. As part of the founding team at Terremark, he helped grow the business from zero revenue to being acquired by Verizon for over $2 billion. Before joining Terremark, Mr. Wheeler spent 24 years at BellSouth managing data center and WAN/LAN Operations, in addition to directing some of the largest and most critical 24/7 operations centers in the Southeastern U.S. Mr. Wheeler graduated from the University of Florida, where he earned a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in marketing.

Arlette Hart

CISO FBI

Arlette Hart is the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Chief Information Security Officer.  She is responsible for insuring appropriate information security protocols are in place to protect the FBI’s data and networks, so they can be used where and when Bureau employees and partners legitimately need them. Ms. Hart builds coalitions across the FBI, with government partners, and with private industry to shape the direction of cyber security and drive innovation. She directs FBI information assurance capabilities, and ensures baseline compliance and ongoing monitoring for external and internal threats.  Ms. Hart brings technology management and deployment skills to the work, and drives security architecture from the perimeter to the host.  Her areas of expertise include the advanced persistent threat, insider threat, intelligence, investigation, and assessment and mitigation of compromise.  She joined the Bureau 2010.  Ms. Hart has a Bachelors’ Degree from Geneva College and earned a Master’s Degree from Georgetown University.

Noah Tobin

Cyber Security Research Georgia Tech Research Institute

Noah Tobin is a cyber security researcher at the Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI). At GTRI, Mr. Tobin has assisted multiple Fortune 500 companies and government agencies with insider threat monitoring and detection, critical data protection, and risk analysis. Mr. Tobin has over 8 years of experience in technology consulting and research. In addition to his experience in cybersecurity, Mr. Tobin has also worked in the financial services industry working for Deloitte and Aon Benfield, conducting financial risk analysis and statistical modeling.  Mr. Tobin received both his Bachelors and Masters from George Mason University.

Daniel Clayton

Director of Operations Rackspace Managed Security

Daniel Clayton is responsible for global customer security operations and strategy for Rackspace.  He currently oversees the Rackspace Managed Security Operations organization, including the Customer Security Operations Center (CSOC), the Compliance Assistance Team and the Customer Experience Team. He is a member of the executive team that aligns strategy, technology and execution across the Rackspace global enterprise, which serves 300,000+ customers in over 120 countries.

Prior to joining Rackspace, Daniel spent more than two decades with UK and US government intelligence and security services, where he developed and managed intelligence and security operations programs in multiple international locations,  to include SOCs within the U.S. National Security Agency (NSA) and the U.K. Government Communications Headquarters (GCHQ).

Daniel has a MS in Leadership and Management and BA  in Intelligence Management from City and Guilds (Royal Charter) in London, as well as a BA in Russian from the University of Westminster.In his previous role as Operations Center Intelligence Officer and Branch Chief with the U.K. Government, Daniel designed, implemented, coordinated and supervised the collection, analysis, and dissemination of nationally significant information across a network of three internationally deployed SOCs for a staff of 130 analysts and reporters.

Chris Roberts

Chris M. Roberts is a senior research engineer at the Georgia Tech Research Institute specializing in embedded firmware reverse engineering, vulnerability research and hardware analysis.  He graduated from Georgia Tech in 2004 with a BSEE and from Mercer University with a MSEE degree in 2007.  Mr. Roberts’ technical expertise expands over a wide spectrum including radio frequency system design, electronic and cyber warfare, hardware and firmware reverse engineering, vulnerability assessments of embedded systems specializing in over-the-air cyber exploits.  He has investigated, discovered and exploited a wide array of devices including ARM processors, 8051 processors, FPGAs and DSPs.

Paul Fletcher Cyber Security Evangelist Alert Logic

Paul Fletcher has over 20 years of experience in information technology and security. Prior to joining Alert Logic, Fletcher advised executive level leadership in the energy, retail, and financial sectors regarding emerging security threats and mitigation strategies. Additionally, he has worked with Fortune 50 organizations, the Department of Defense, and critical infrastructure organizations to implement risk management plans and security solution designs. His other specialties include network security, customer data integrity, application security, forensics investigation, threat intelligence, and incident response. Fletcher holds a Master of Arts and Bachelor of Science degree and is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
