Charles Johnson

Charles Johnson is an 18 year IT veteran wholly focused on ensuring organizations large and small are enabled to protect their data and infrastructure from malicious activity. Charles began his career in InfoSec securing communications for the Joint Chiefs of Staff and Joint Communications in the United States Navy. Prior to joining Alert Logic, Charles spent 4 years working as a consulting engineer and solutions architect helping organizations measure and address risk and operationalize investments in information systems security resources.  

Allen Marin Product Marketing Manager Venafi

Allen Marin is an IT business professional with over 15 years’ experience in helping enterprises secure, protect, and analyze their data. He has held a variety of senior marketing and strategy roles at IBM and Seagate and at Venafi is responsible for defining and bringing new initiatives to market around the keys and certificates that underlie the secure communications we rely on every day. Allen lives in Broomfield, Colorado and enjoys hiking, cycling, snowboarding, skiing, snowshoeing, and spending time with his family.

Bill Lapp Engineering Leader Zscaler

As the Leader for Solution Engineering and Architecture at Zscaler, Bill Lapp is responsible for all pre-sales engineering efforts in North and South America.  His primary focus is assisting large enterprises to rethink how they approach network and business transformation through the use of security and policy.  Bill has a varied background in software development, rocket science, crisis management, big data, communications, pre-sales, international government, education, large enterprise and startup environments which provides him with a differentiated and holistic view on technology applied to society and business.  Bill is passionate about public speaking and has spoken on the topics of Innovation in Government, Enterprise 2.0, US-Africa business relations, and has guest lectured at Worcester Polytechnic Institute and Babson College on the topics of Corporate Entrepreneurship, VoIP, IT, Operations, and Social Selling.  Bill had the privilege to attend the aforementioned institutions and earned BS and MS degrees in Computer Science and an MBA.

Roy Katmor CEO enSilo

Roy Katmor is the CEO of enSilo. Roy is a 15-year seasoned product manager and security market strategist, combining strong technical knowledge with proven sales and marketing skills. Prior to enSilo, Roy led Akamai’s security strategy. Before that, he managed Imperva’s data security products and architecture management. Additionally, Roy held various product management and R&D leading roles at several international public and privately-held companies. Roy holds a BSc in Information Systems from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology, and MBA in finance and business strategy from the Hebrew University.

Chris Martin is a Principal Sales Engineer at LogRhythm based out of New York.  Over a decades experience in IT Security, working across a number of sectors including banking, legal, government and public sector throughout EMEA, APAC and the US.

Zach Lanier

Zach Lanier specializes in various bits of network, application, mobile, and embedded security. He is currently Director of Research with Cylance, where he helps run the vulnerability research/intelligence team. Prior to joining Cylance, Zach most recently served as a Senior Research Scientist with Accuvant Labs, and prior to that as a Senior Security Researcher with Duo Security. He has spoken at a variety of security conferences, such as Black Hat, DEF CON, CanSecWest, INFILTRATE, Countermeasure, and SummerCon, and is a co-author of the “Android Hackers’ Handbook” (Wiley, 2014).

Patrick Vowels

Vowles has over 25 years of hands-on IT and product management experience creating innovative connectivity, security and compliance solutions. After spending several years in technical roles supporting European operations for key LAN/WAN vendors, he moved spent several years supporting network infrastructure sales in New York City. Later at a global ISP, he created an entire managed security and SSL VPN remote access service. He also created virtualization and cloud security offerings at RSA and VCE, while contributing to such projects as the Cloud Security Alliance Consensus Assessment Initiative. Vowles then directed the content for a series of international Cyber Fraud and Cyber Attack summits before moving to IBM as part of the Next Generation Endpoint Protection marketing team.

Joseph Steinberg

Joseph Steinberg (CISSP, ISSAP, ISSMP, CSSLP) is a respected cybersecurity expert, executive, columnist, and consultant.  He has written several books and many articles on information-security-related topics, and is a frequent media commentator on cyber-related matters. He writes a column on cybersecurity for Inc., and previously did so for Forbes. He is also the editor of (ISC)2’s official textbook covering the material on its advanced security management (CISSP-ISSMP) exam. He has been calculated to be one of the top 3 cybersecurity influencers worldwide.

Joseph has worked in the information-security industry since the mid-1990s, and is presently serving as CEO of SecureMySocial, which recently brought to market the world’s first system to protect businesses and their employees by warning people in real time if they are making inappropriate social-media posts. Earlier, he served for a decade as CEO of cybersecurity firm, Green Armor Solutions, and for half-a-decade in various senior capacities at Whale Communications (acquired by Microsoft).

Joseph serves as an expert witness and consultant on issues related to information security, and has advised businesses and governments on such matters. He earned an M.S. from the Courant Institute at New York University (NYU), and holds several advanced certifications in information security. He is the inventor of several cybersecurity technologies widely-used today; his work is cited in well-over 100 published US patents.
