Chrysti is a seasoned internal auditor with 22 years of experience, including public and industry positions, and is currently the chief audit executive at CITGO Petroleum Corporation in Houston, Tx. She is a graduate of Texas A&M University in College Station with a BBA in Accounting. She also obtained her MBA from Texas A&M University in Corpus Christi. After completing post-graduate studies in 2000, Chrysti moved to Houston to work for the public accounting firm PricewaterhouseCoopers until 2008 when she moved into industry at NiSource, Inc. then in 2012 at Genesis Energy LP. She moved into her current role in October 2019.

Chrysti holds the Certificate of Internal Auditing (CIA), Certificate of Fraud Examination (CFE), and Certification of Risk Management Assurance (CRMA) designations. She is a long-time member of the Houston Chapter of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) and serves on the Annual Conference Committee as the Program Co-Chair. She has also been a member of the Houston Chapter of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) for 15 years and has served on the Houston Chapter board in escalating roles for the past 6 years. She currently serves as the President of the Houston ACFE.
