Dr. Andy Ozment Assistant Secretary Office of Cybersecurity and Communications | Department of Homeland Security Dr. Andy Ozment is the Assistant Secretary of the Office of Cybersecurity and Communications (CS&C) within the National Protections and Programs Directorate (NPPD) of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). In this role, Dr. Ozment oversees a budget of almost $930 million and leads a Federal employee workforce charged with enhancing the security, resilience, and reliability of the Nation’s cyber and communications infrastructure. Prior to being appointed to his current position, Dr. Ozment served at the White House as Senior Director for Cybersecurity and one of two deputies to the Cybersecurity Coordinator. While at the White House, he led the team that developed and implemented the President’s Executive Order (EO) 13636 on Improving Critical Infrastructure Cybersecurity, the Cross Agency Priority (CAP) goal for cybersecurity, and the National Strategy for Trusted Identities in Cyberspace (NSTIC). Dr. Ozment previously worked at the Office of the Secretary of Defense, National Security Agency, MIT Lincoln Laboratory, Merrill Lynch, and Nortel Networks. Dr. Ozment earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Georgia Tech, a Master of Science degree in International Relations from the London School of Economics, and a Ph.D. in Computer Security from the University of Cambridge.

His responsibilities include strategic product planning to meet the Company’s growth objectives, and the operations of the Hexis Cyber Solutions. Prior to joining KEYW, he was President and Chief Executive Officer of SafeNet, Inc., a global leader in data protection from May 2011 to December 2012. He was named CEO in May 2011, having more than a decade of executive leadership at SafeNet and previously serving as its President and Chief Operating Officer. During his tenure at SafeNet, he has led the rapid and dynamic growth of SafeNet, first as Director of Corporate Product Management and Business Development and then as General Manager of the Enterprise Security Division. Mr. Fedde established the Company’s security presence in the U.S. Government, and expanded SafeNet’s presence in the worldwide security community. He led the company from sub- $20 million in revenue in 2001 to more than $450 million by 2010, along the way establishing SafeNet as one of the largest independent security technology companies in the world. Mr. Fedde positioned SafeNet at the forefront of protecting high value information for companies and governments globally. Prior to joining SafeNet, Mr. Fedde was Director of Secure Products at Harris Corporation, where he established the security business and led its growth. In this role, he was responsible for the direction and management of security businesses requiring very high levels of security, including the U.S. Government. Before joining Harris Corporation, Mr. Fedde previously served as Engineering Manager at Motorola, developing wireless two-way products for the global markets. He holds several patents for wireless technologies. He served on the Board of SafeNet and was also a member of the Board of Directors for AuthenTec, a publicly traded company sold to Apple in 2012.

Governor Terry McAuliffe Terence “Terry” McAuliffe is the 72nd Governor of Virginia. He is a successful businessman, entrepreneur, and dad who has lived in Virginia for more than 20 years. Terry and his wife Dorothy were married in 1988. They’ve attended St. Luke Catholic Church for two decades and have been involved in every sport, activity, and competition imaginable with their five children Dori, Jack, Mary, Sally, and Peter. The Governor attended Catholic University and Georgetown Law School.

Dr. Pruthi continues to drive the advancement of cybersecurity and network monitoring applications and practices to new levels, regularly introducing highly innovative and state-of-the-art products that continue to pave the way in the industry.
