Richard currently serves as Assistant to the Special Agent in Charge for the U.S. Secret Service and has proudly served for over 20 years with the agency. Throughout his tenure with the United States Secret Service he has held positions with the Presidential Protective Division, various field offices as well as Uniformed Division. While serving these assignments he became an expert in all types of cyber investigations. Network intrusion investigations being a focus of his Richard has been a spokesman for cyber security awareness and has been responsible for cases which have garnered national news coverage.

Richard is also a Law Enforcement expert in cryptocurrency investigations and has trained Law Enforcement officials including federal, state and local. Through his guidance these agencies can now identify, trace and recover funds lost in the war between cyber criminals and the public.

He currently coordinates cyber and financial crime investigative operations in the central Florida region.  Richard helped create and currently manages the Cyber Fraud Task Force which is a strategic alliance of federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies, academia, private sector, and technical experts, to confront and suppress technology-based criminal activity that endangers the integrity of our nation’s financial infrastructure.
