Nelson is IT Security Professional with over 28 years of experience in technology companies such as Symantec, Cisco, British Telecom,  Forcepoint, and NetIQ.  The first 10 years of his career was in Datacenter Operations, and the remaining 18 years in pre-sales engineering and sales management. Nelson brings to the table many years of experience in network architecture design, hands-on expertise in security, visibility, routing & switching, wireless, data center operations, systems & network design, server administration, disaster recovery, high availability, performance & real-time monitoring, as well as managing & meeting committed service levels.

He has worked with Ixia (a Keysight Business) for the past 6+ years and leads the Enterprise Sales Engineering Team for the Western Region. Nelson holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Management Information Systems from San Jose State and has been a CISSP since 2002.
