Matthew GardinerMatthew Gardiner is a Senior Product Marketing Manager at Mimecast and is currently focused on email security, phishing, malware, and cloud security. With more than 15 years focused in security, Matthew’s expertise in various roles includes threat detection & response, network monitoring, SIEM, endpoint threat detection, threat intelligence, identity & access management, Web access management, identity federation, cloud security, and IT compliance at RSA, Netegrity, and CA Technologies. Previously he was President and a member of the board of trustees of the security industry non-profit, the Kantara Initiative. Duane KurodaDuane Kuroda is a Group Manager for Proofpoint’s Advanced Technologies where he educates and trains customers and staff on advanced technologies and solutions that impact organizations through SaaS, social, mobile, email, and network channels. Before Proofpoint, Duane worked at NetCitadel for their Automated Incident Response and Security Orchestration product and at Checkpoint Software Technologies, where he oversaw the introduction of Checkpoint’s Threat Emulation Technology and Threat Center. Duane holds three patents and has spoken at conferences and industry events such as FS-ISAC, FBI (Federal Bureau of Investigation) InfraGard, and SecureWorld events.
Jeffrey DuranJeffrey Duran is the Director of Product Marketing for enSilo. Prior to joining enSilo, he led the marketing efforts for Invotas (acquired by FireEye), and was a formative member of the communications team for the U.S. Army Cyber Command. Jeff has more than 20 years of experience solving complex communications problems for the cybersecurity, software development, manufacturing, and defense industries.
Brian NeSmithBrian NeSmith brings more than 30 years of experience, most recently as former CEO of Blue Coat Systems, where he increased company revenues from $5M/year to over $500M/year as the industry’s leading web proxy platform. Prior to Blue Coat Brian was the CEO of Ipsilon Networks (acquired by Nokia) which became the leading appliance platform for Check Point firewalls. His early career includes product management, marketing, and general management at Newbridge Networks. He was also a consultant for Network Strategies, Inc. Brian graduated from Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a bachelors of science in electrical engineering.
Chris GoodmanChris Goodman has over 20 years of experience in the Cyber Security and Information Technology field. He leverages his years of experience in Incident Response, Cyber Security Operations, Security Architecture, and Cyber Security Strategy to continually improve and transform how his customers deal with today’s and future threats.
Duncan McAlynnAs a nearly 20-year veteran of Information Technology with a laser focus on Systems & Security Management, Duncan McAlynn, is a driven and passionate IT professional. He is a contributing author/editor to several books, magazine publications, and websites as well as a popular presenter at many Microsoft events. These activities have led to him receiving the Microsoft Most Valuable Professional award for six consecutive years and being named a member of the FBI InfraGard division.
Duncan has held a number of certifications and awards including 6x Microsoft MVP, MCITP, MCSA, MCSE, & CISSP.
Today, Duncan is a Principal Security Engineer & Evangelist for Ivanti, ISSA Gulf Coast TX chapter president & author of Advanced Windows Security.
Horacio ZambranoWith over 15 years of experience in cyber security, Horacio is VP of Product Marketing and directs thought leadership at OPSWAT. Prior to this, he was VP of Marketing at cyber security start-up Virsec Systems. Horacio was also Senior Director of Product Management at Juniper Networks, the lead business-side executive for the market-leading VPN, NAC, and MDM product lines that included Pulse (formerly Neoteris), complementing his leadership of Cisco’s AnyConnect VPN product line prior to this. Horacio has been a strategic product management, marketing, and business development leader in enterprise software for over 21 years, including at BMC Software, Informix, and Gupta. He has also been a leading Wall Street analyst covering information security and software for over 5 years, and he holds both a Computer Engineering and an MBA degree from Stanford.
Navid Keshavarz-NiaDr. Keshavarz-Nia is a vice president and senior director in INFOSEC with 30 years of experience in national security spanning leadership and program execution supporting the civilian, Defense, US Intelligence Agency (USIA), and commercial banking organizations. His background extends in cyber security engineering, technical counterintelligence and incident response management. He is an innovator and has implemented next generation security solutions across the IC, defense, and civilian clients. He has engineered technical solutions and managed large development teams involving security risk assessment, insider threat, incident response, and threat hunting exercises to identify advanced persistent threats. He is an experienced ethical hacker, big data architect and cloud security expert in cloud computing, Blockchain technology, and big data analytic solutions. He has led or supported the CIA, NSA, DHS US-CERT, USCYBERCOM and the FBI.
