Tim Callahan Senior Vice President, Global Security, Chief Security Officer Aflac Tim joined Aflac in April, 2014. Tim is responsible for the Aflac Global Security Program which includes Technology Risk Management, Physical and Logical Information Asset Protection, Information Security Program, Threat and Vulnerability Management, Cyber Security Operations and Incident Response, Information Technology Compliance and Risk Management, Security Engineering, Business Resiliency and Disaster Recovery. Tim is the executive responsible for the protection and availability of the information assets for the world’s leading provider of supplemental and voluntary insurance. Tim leads various security and risk committees and structures to help business partners accelerate in a safe and sound manner, while protecting Aflac clients. Prior to Aflac, Tim was Senior Vice President, Business Continuity and Information Assurance at SunTrust Bank. Tim was responsible for SunTrust’s Corporate Threat and Vulnerability Management, Information Security Monitoring and Investigation, Business Resumption, Disaster Recovery, Incident Response/Crisis Management, Technology Risk Project Office, Records and Information Management programs. Tim led a team of professional risk managers in ensuring the protection, preservation, and availability of critical corporate information and resources. Tim integrated these functions building a capability that provided a unified approach in determining threats, developing mitigation strategies and solutions, and managing through incidents. Tim has successfully tested this integrated concept in the management of virus, weather, technology outages, and distributed denial of service attacks. Prior to SunTrust, Tim served as First Vice President, Technology Risk Management, and Chief Information Security Officer, at Peoples United Bank in Bridgeport Connecticut. Tim was the executive charged with protecting People’s United Bank’s information, information systems, and technology. During his tenure, Tim built and effective technology risk management organization and led the company through a technology integration and organization program upon acquisition of a bank of near equal size. Tim also served on the State of Connecticut Judicial Committee on Identity Theft to assist in building requirements for protecting sensitive personal information introduced into the judiciary through legal actions. Tim was a career military professional serving in leadership positions throughout his 23-year career. In his final assignment, Tim was the program manager for a command risk management function at one of the US Air Forces Major Command Headquarters. Tim is a sought after and frequent speaker, panelist, moderator and chair at conferences, seminars, and summits on topics ranging from leadership, technology, information security, information governance, governance risk and compliance, and cyber security. Tim has chaired the annual IT Governance Risk and Compliance Summit for six years. Tim has been a recognized industry thought leader; his awards include: Evanta’s 2015 CISO Top 10 Breakaway Leader Award, 2009 Information Security Executive of the Year-Northeast People’s Choice Award, 2007 Digital ID World Industry Award; 2006 Information Security Executive of the Year- Southeast People’s Choice Award; 2006 Digital ID World Industry Award. Tim is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional, a Certified Information Security Manger, and Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control, a Certified Project Manager, and Competent Toastmaster. Tim holds a Bachelor of Science from University of the State of New York.  

Nanda Santhana VP of Solutions Securonix

Nanda brings over 10 years of information security experience with deep expertise in architecting security solutions for large enterprises. Prior to Securonix, Nanda worked for Oracle and Sun Microsystems where he was responsible for solution implementation and sales for all security products.

Chad Hunt Supervisor of Computer Intrusion Squad Atlanta Field Office, FBI Mr. Hunt entered duty as a Special Agent with the FBI in 2003. With over ten years of experience investigating cyber crime, he brings an in-depth knowledge of the field. Upon completion of New Agents Training, he was assigned to the Atlanta Field Office, where he was placed on the computer intrusion squad and conducted cyber crime investigations in support of the FBI Cyber Division’s mission to identify, pursue, and defeat cyber adversaries. While at the Atlanta Field Office, Mr. Hunt was a member of the Evidence Response Team (ERT), and of the FBI’s Cyber Action Team (CAT), which is a rapid-response, globally deployable unit that brings in-depth cyber intrusion expertise and investigative skills to major cases of national importance. Mr. Hunt was promoted to Supervisory Special Agent in the Cyber Criminal Section at FBI Headquarters in 2011, where he spent 20 months, and was responsible for the program management of the computer intrusion program for multiple FBI Field Offices and Legal Attaché Offices, along with overseeing the operations Eurasian Organized Cyber Crime Threat Focus Cell. In 2014, Mr. Hunt was assigned to the US Embassy in Canberra, Australia for a one-year assignment as an Assistant Legal Attaché (ALAT), focusing on cyber matters in Australia, New Zealand, and multiple Pacific island in the region. Mr. Hunt is currently assigned as the Supervisor of a computer intrusion squad at the Atlanta Field Office. Prior to working for the FBI, Mr. Hunt worked for 12 years in the Information Technology industry. Mr. Hunt received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Management Information Systems (MIS) from the Pennsylvania State University in 1991. Mr. Hunt will be discussing the current cyber threat landscape, private sector engagement, a proactive approach to cyber security, and will address what to expect when working with the FBI following a data breach.

He brings more than 14 years’ experience representing top technology vendors, consultants and systems integrators and crafts compelling PR strategies for clients within sensitive industries and missions. Resau earned a bachelor’s degree in advertising and public relations from Penn State University and holds a master’s degree in management information systems. He lives in Northern Virginia and is an avid skier, outdoor chef and college football fan.
