Alan Ross

Alan Ross is Chief Technology Officer at Cybraics, a security analytics and artificial intelligence company. Prior to joining Cybraics, Alan spent 17 years at Intel, including leading Intel IT’s security architecture and technology development and also served as Chief Cloud Security Architect, where he played a pivotal role in shaping Intel’s and their customers’ security posture. Alan is the pioneer behind the Apache Spot project, an open source initiative to provide enterprises with the foundational tools and best practices for building out a big data security analytics platform. Alan has more than 20 years of security experience in various capacities: from policy and awareness, security/risk analysis to engineering and architecture. Prior to joining Intel, Alan worked as a security administrator/engineer for two global companies, focusing on network, host and application security. He is CISSP and ISSAP certified, and has 24 U.S. patents and many pending relating to security and manageability of systems and networks.
