Abdel Sy Fane is a Senior Manager of Security & Privacy at Protiviti. As a passionate security enthusiast, Abdel saw the importance of a cybersecurity workforce that needed free accessible resource to be better prepared for today’s cybersecurity job, so he founded CSNP, formerly Chicago CyberSecurity NFP to help raise cybersecurity awareness through education and hands-on workshops.

Abdel received his master’s in Cyber Forensics & Security from Illinois Institute of Technology in 2014, and since then he has consulted for Allstate, Veteran’s Administration and now a global consultant at Protiviti. As the president of CSNP, Abdel is dedicated to unifying the security community and promoting security education globally.
