David is the Global Field CTO for Rubrik working with enterprise customers and global partners on leveraging the Rubrik Cloud Data Management platform to drive their digital transformations forward.  An experienced technology executive with over 20 years’ experience.  Previously, he served as the Vice President of Data Classification for HyTrust, a leader in workload security.  David was the co-founder and CTO of DataGravity the pioneer in data aware storage with proactive analytics leading to acquisition by HyTrust. Prior to DataGravity, he was the Global Director of Sales Engineering at Veeam Software and former CTO for Kane County, IL.  An industry recognized technical visionary; he has presented at numerous conferences including VMworld, RSA Conference, and Black Hat.  He resides in Tampa, FL and co-leads the Tampa VMware Users Group.
