Davitt Potter is a sales engineer for BlueVoyant, a cybersecurity company with an industry-leading integrated, end-to-end internal and external cyber defense platform. He brings to the role more than 25 years of experience in cybersecurity.
Potter started his career as a field services engineer, and advanced to defining and managing IT operations and strategy for numerous companies in a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) capacity. With a focus on security, he has experience across all aspects of IT, allowing for a complete understanding of a company’s needs and goals.
By combining a technical background with a proven sales and leadership record, Potter has developed numerous successful reseller programs, channel enablement programs and consultancy plans which have increased top-line revenue growth and adoption by the channel. He has also developed and managed post-sales and professional services programs to further enhance revenue and profitability.
Potter graduated from South Dakota School of Mines and Technology with a degree in computer science.
A life-long technologist, he is always looking for what’s next around the corner. In his little free time, Potter is an avid skier, hangs out with his two rescue Labrador mixes, works on classic cars & 4x4s, motorcycles, and plays the guitar.
