Prior to returning to the Global Enterprise Segment, Adam was the Borderless Networks Director of Sales and Operations for the US Commercial Segment. He was responsible for strategy and sales execution for more than $3B in revenue per year. His dedicated team of Sales Specialist and Engineers support Routing, Switching, Security and Unified Access (WLAN) for North America’s largest customer segment (Mid-Market). He was heavily influential in Cisco’s strategic acquisition of Meraki, and led the sales integration efforts for the newly formed Cloud Networking Group with US Commercial.
In 2010, Adam was named Director of Sales & Operations for Mobility (WLAN) for the Americas Theater. With over $1B in annual Sales, this represented over 2% of Cisco’s Total Product Revenues and over 50% of Cisco’s WW Mobility Sales. Under his leadership, Cisco extended their Market Share leadership in Wireless and grew WLAN sales 28% YoY; the fastest growing Billion dollar business in the Cisco networking portfolio.
Prior to becoming the Americas Borderless Networks Sales Leader for Mobility, Adam structured a dedicated Borderless Networks Team for Cisco’s Global Enterprise Theater. This highly focused team collaborated and aligned with Cisco’s 28 Largest Enterprise customers worldwide who represent some of the largest Fortune 100 Companies in Financial Services, Retail, Oil & Gas and Manufacturing.
Before joining Cisco in 2005, Adam held a number of sales leadership roles with both start-ups and established industry players such as Acopia Networks, Exhault, VeriSign, Siemens and Computer Associates.
A native of Annapolis, MD, Adam received a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Villanova University in 1993, and is currently enrolled in the Wharton Executive Education, Advanced Management Program for Leadership Development. He resides just outside of Princeton NJ, and enjoys golf, baseball and cooking for his wife and two children.
