
Matt currently serves as the Chief Information Security Officer for the MD Department of Health and has been with the Agency for over 5 years. Over a 30 year career he has worked in several global organizations including Jacobs Engineering where his focus was bridging the gap between IT and OT (Operational Technology) or ICS (Industrial Control Systems) for information security as well as Nielsen Media Research, a global leader in audience insights, data and analytics where he led efforts for security risk management across their global digital services offering. Matt has achieved a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics Engineering and holds multiple information security certifications including CISM (Certified Information Security Manager), ITIL Foundation, and CCSK (Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge). Outside of work Matt enjoys spending as much time as possible with his Family, coaching youth sports, volunteering with organizations such as MD Special Olympics and Scouting America, and enjoying nature related activities.
