SA J.R. Manes joined the FBI in 2006 and has worked Cyber criminal and national security investigations in the FBI’s Buffalo and Boston Divisions. He has received the FBI Director’s Award for Outstanding Cyber Investigation and the National Intelligence Meritorious Unit Citation for his investigative work against APT actors. SA Manes is also a member of the FBI Cyber Action Team, a world-wide rapid cyber investigative fly-team that deploys to the most critical cyber incidents on behalf of the U.S. Government. SA Manes has a B.S. and M.S. in Computer Science and has a passion for data analytics, malware analysis, and cyber threat research. SA Manes is the tallest agent in the Boston Division and frequently earns enough points at Dunkin Donuts to get any size coffee he wants.
