Lt Col Robert Harder is a professor at the United States Air Force Academy in the Computer and Cyber Sciences Department.  He teaches cyber defense and offense topics, secure web programming, modeling and simulation, and systems engineering courses.  He has a PhD in virtual reality and a masters degree in Operations Research (OR).  As a senior member of his department, he helps shape the future of the curriculum including recent recognition as an NSA Center for Academic Excellence in Cyber Operations.

He has served 20 years in the Air Force applying his talents to such topics as policy analysis, test and evaluation, and Latin America security cooperation.  In every capacity he has raised the bar and led his teams to numerous awards.  Now at the Academy he has focused people’s attention on the security issues of the day, most notably in the cyber domain.
