Neil Graves is the Chief Scientist at the U.S. Department of State where he oversees the strategic and tactical efforts to define and design the intersection of usability assurance and information assurance that maximize the efforts of US diplomats worldwide. Mr. Graves was selected to create and lead the organization responsible for developing the Department’s next-generation enterprise security architecture. Neil represents the Department to multiple National Security Council sub-committees and is an active member of the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers.

Neil is a career federal employee with past roles in offensive cyber operations, continuity of government, and research and development throughout many federal departments and agencies. Neil holds a MS in Strategic Intelligence from the National Intelligence University, MS in Computer Science from Johns Hopkins, and is a Harvard University Senior Executive Fellow.
