Bryan Glancey is Chief Technology Officer for Optio Labs, Inc. Prior to joining Optio Labs, Mr. Glancey was CTO for CellTrust, a secure SMS platform for corporate and government use.
Mr. Glancey has held key executive positions with Samsung Electronics Co. in Suwon, South Korea, most recently serving as Director, Public Sector and Security, where he led the founding of the Samsung Government Advisory Board consisting of Information Security leaders from global governments. Mr. Glancey was instrumental in Samsung’s accreditation as the first handset manufacturer to meet the International Common Criteria protection profile created for mobile devices – the Mobile Device Fundamentals Protection Profile.
Prior to Samsung, Mr. Glancey served as Motorola’s Director of Federal Government, where he focused on providing Motorola’s secure Android-based mobile solutions for tablets and smartphones to the United States federal government. Mr. Glancey also co-founded and served as Chief Technology Officer of Mobile Armor, acquired by Trend Micro Inc. in 2011.
Mr. Glancey holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Physics from Clarkson University, where he concentrated on experimental physics, complex data modeling, and electronic data sampling.
Mr. Glancey is a sought-out speaker at numerous international conferences, including BlackHat, SANS, CTIA, DEFCON, and ISSA. In addition, he is a resource for press on mobile security topics and is a Board member of Green Rocket Security.
Mr. Glancey holds two U.S. Patents and three pending patents, focused on authentication, virtual smart cards, remote authentication of mobile devices, and secure boot.
