Prior to this appointment, Zefren was the Senior Lead of Cybersecurity Program Governance and External Risk for a large healthcare company and participated with the Health Sector Coordinating Council Cybersecurity Working Group. Zefren’s experience includes working at EY, KPMG, and he was the Senior Technology Risk Leader at a large bank. He serves on the Supervisory Committee of Rivermark Credit Union, where the mandate of the committee is to safeguard member assets by ensuring the credit union is operating with proper audit and risk protocols. He also provides assistance to the Rivermark Credit Union Board of Directors’ on cybersecurity governance matters.
Zefren is a graduate of California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems, with a minor in finance
