Raul Documet is an experienced Information Technology Professional whose career started in compliance as an IT auditor with Ernst & Young and later pivoted to Information Security taking a role as a Security Engineer for BankUnited and as Security Coordinator for Telefónica USA. Over the seven years in these three roles Raul obtained numerous certifications in the discipline including CISA, CISSP, and GCIH.

In 2012 Raul transitioned to a role as a Cloud Solution Architect with Verizon after they acquired Terremark, a then leader in Cloud technology. While at Verizon, Raul had an opportunity to design solutions that focused on the workloads and infrastructure that security practitioners seek to protect. When it became obvious that Verizon was moving away from Cloud, Raul’s career moved back towards Security where he delved deep technically as a Network Access Control Systems Engineer for a Pre-IPO security device manufacturer.

In 2018 Raul became an adjunct Professor of Information Technology at Miami Dade College and started working with a National Managed Services Provider focusing on Small and Medium Businesses and ultimately joining Claro Enterprise Solutions, (CES) were he added Unified Communication, Connectivity and IoT to his knowledge base. He has now come full circle, bringing his broad knowledge and understanding of technology and solutions back to the arena of Cyber Security.

Raul is a native of Miami where he currently resides, a veteran of the US Army, and a crypto and blockchain enthusiast.
