Bryan De Young a Special Agent with the U.S. Secret Service Philadelphia Field Office, currently assigned to the Financial Crimes Investigation Squad (Electronic Crimes Special Agent Program). His current responsibilities include but are not limited to: Investigation of electronic and financial crimes as it relates to violations of federal law, safeguard the nation’s financial infrastructure and payment systems, and to protect our national leaders and visiting foreign heads of state and government.
De Young has been an agent for 17+ years. His assignment began in the Newark, NJ, Field Office for 6 years where he not only investigated financial crimes but was assigned to the FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force (2004 – 2006). From 2008 through 2011 De Young was assigned to the Clinton Protection Detail, Chappaqua, NY, where he conducted physical protection for Former President William Clinton and Former First Lady Hillary Clinton.
Since 2011 De Young has been assigned to the Philadelphia Field Office. For the last 6 years he has participated in and received training for the United States Secret Service, Electronic Crimes Special Agent Program – Computer Forensics (ECSAP-CF). During this timeframeDe Young has also served as the Philadelphia Electronic Crimes Task Force Coordinator. The primary function of an ECSAP-CF agent is the forensic examination/evaluation of electronically stored data for Secret Service investigations as well as any other federal, state or local law enforcement agency upon request.
