As Chief Security Officer/Chief Information Security Officer, Ken leads the global corporate and product security teams that strive to appropriately manage risk while fulfilling Secureworks’ purpose to secure human progress. Ken joined Secureworks in 2011, where he created and led the Corporate Incident Response Team (CIRT). In 2013, Ken transitioned to leading the Corporate Threat Intelligence Team, and in early 2016 Ken became the CSO/CISO for Secureworks. In 2021, Ken was awarded the Top 10 CISO Black Unicorn award from Cyber Defense Magazine.  

Prior to joining Secureworks Ken was the Branch Chief, Dynamic Network Defensive Operations – Fusion Center for the newly created U.S. Cyber Command. Ken led the Focused Operations Team, the Network Forensics Team, the DoD Media and Malware Analysis Laboratory, and the DoD Information Assurance Vulnerability Management Program.
