Chris Bream is a Vice President, Engineering at 1Password. Prior to 1Password, Pedro spent seven years at Meta where he held a number of roles in security, including supporting Meta’s central security org which was responsible for securing Meta’s family of apps (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, AR/VR, etc) and infrastructure, one of the largest infrastructure in the world.
Chris has had the role of Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Tanium, a company focused on tools for endpoint management and security. In this role, Chris supported all of the company’s technical and product functions. Prior to Tanium, Chris worked as a security consultant, including four years at Mandiant. Chris holds a degree in Computer Science from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech).
At 1Password, Chris applies his experience scaling teams and technology for one of the largest tech companies in the world, helping ensure 1Password remains a leader in privacy and security. The teams he supports drive internal velocity for 1Passwords teams and quality for 1Passwords products. He helps ensure 1Password is building robust, reliable products and services that serve the families and businesses that entrust their data to us.
