As CrowdStrike’s chief operating officer, Colin Black oversees IT, Information Security, Customer Success, and Facilities at CrowdStrike. He and his team work across the globe to build a growing, scalable, and customer focused company.
As a customer of CrowdStrike before he joined the company, Colin brings his passion for cyber security and perspective as a security purchaser and user to this important role. With more than 25 years of experience in the technology space, he has served in leadership positions with Kratos Defense and Security, Inc., Cymer, Inc., and Mindspeed Technologies. His background spans IT, global ops, manufacturing, facilities, and running a $500m service business.
Colin began his career as a quantum physicist and graduated from Glasgow University in Scotland with a Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering, specializing in Nano-Electronics.
