Tim Appleby is a Program Manager in the IBM Security Enablement team and has been involved in the information security industry since 2010.

In his current role, he has direct responsibility for developing learning content and educating IBM sellers about marketplace trends, industry specific security concerns and the capabilities that the IBM Security portfolio delivers to help clients with their security needs.

Prior to this role, he was the Program Manager for the IBM Security Board of Advisors bringing together industry Chief Information Security Officers and IBM Security Executives to help shape strategic thinking.

Prior to joining IBM in 2001, Tim worked for e-Business company as a product manager for a wireless application and before that he designed surgical products for 14 years. He holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh, MS in Biomedical Engineering from Drexel University and an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.
