Patrick is in his fifth year at IBM and uses his domain experience across data, identity & access, mobile, and mainframe security to inform initiatives like zero trust and ransomware defense. He returned to IBM after two decades of diverse experience in enterprise B2B software—from global leaders like BMC and CA Technologies to disruptive start-ups like NetQoS–and works to ensure that marketing efforts fuse customer needs with outstanding and relevant technology. After completing his liberal arts education at Yale University, Patrick started his tech career in a mailroom in 1990’s Silicon Valley and found his way to Austin, TX, where he currently lives with his wife in happy denial about becoming empty nesters.
