Jim Aldridge is a Director in Mandiant’s Alexandria, Virginia office. Over the last five years, he has focused on incident response and strategic security advisement for global organizations. One of his relevant areas of interest is helping organizations recover from intrusions. In this area, Mr. Aldridge applies his offensive and defensive security experience to help clients design tailored countermeasures appropriate to the incident and aligned with the organizations’ operational realities. Prior to Mandiant, Mr. Aldridge held various consulting roles within PwC’s security practice. He spent several years focused on penetration testing diverse organizations’ networks from the perspectives of thoughtful human adversaries. He later provided strategic security advice, focused on industry-specific security concerns within the aerospace and defense sector, and led the team responsible for developing UNIX security standards and testing methodologies. Jim received his B.S. in Computer Engineering from the University of Florida and holds the CISSP certification.
