Brian Albertson has over 23 years with State Farm with a variety of IT experiences: architecting, developing, leading, and implementing solutions to achieve financial, operational, and productivity goals. His leadership style is to serve people where they are and inspire them to create collaborative solutions that are innovative, resilient, and sustainable. He has experience in Insurance & Financial Services, Data Migration, Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC), IT Auditing, IT Operations, and Information Security. He has served on the ISACA Board since 2019. He is currently the ISACA Atlanta Chapter Vice President of Operations over Communications, Conferences, Programs, and Technology. In 2020, he led the Chapter Programs transformation to move to virtual talks to support Chapter members. The result was the formation of the Program Committee that delivered content to our members as well as members in all 50 states in the US and 22 countries across the world. In the first year the Chapter sent out over 10,000 CPEs and in 2022 provided over 14,300 CPEs.

He has a lifelong passion for learning and serving people. He holds a variety of certifications including AWSCCP, CRISC, CDPSE, ITIL Expert, and SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM.) Lessons and knowledge he learned from his mentors he passes to various mentoring efforts. He loves helping people realize their dreams!

Brian is a veteran and served in the US Army and Pennsylvania Air National Guard. He graduated from PennWest Edinboro with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science in 2000.
