Ryan leads a distributed cross-functional Sales Engineering team embedded in Secureworks’ Product Management, Engineering, Threat Research, Technical Alliances, and Product Marketing teams. This team works collaboratively with customers and partners to accelerate platform capabilities that solve cyber security challenges.

Prior to joining Secureworks, Ryan was the Director of Information Security for a global Am Law 100 legal services firm where he led the creation of the firm’s information security program. He has worked in the legal industry (aka, “big law”) for nearly 10 years. Ryan has served on several International Legal Technology Association committees, including ILTA’s information security initiative, LegalSEC®; and spoken at numerous ILTA conferences on information security and the practice of law.

Ryan earned a Master’s Degree in Business and Technology Management and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Information Systems, both from Stevenson University. He holds a CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) from (ISC)2® and a GISP (GIAC Information Security Professional) from the SANS Institute Global Information Assurance Certification.
