Seasoned cybersecurity executive with a comprehensive background spanning over 15 years in Information Security, IT Risk Management, Security operation, Privacy, and Regulatory Compliance. As a professor at York University, I have been instrumental in shaping the next generation of cybersecurity professionals through my teachings in cybersecurity operations and cloud security programs. My expertise is not just theoretical but also practical, having supported information security functions for Canada’s most significant public and private companies, such as Aecon, Symcor, TD Bank, Rogers Communications, and the City of Toronto.

I have authored two influential books on Information Systems Management and security, providing valuable insights to the industry.  I hold a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Norwich University, USA, and multiple risk management and information security certifications, including Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP). I contribute actively to the industry through frequent speaking engagements at prestigious cybersecurity conferences, such as the ISACA Canada /USA Conference, Data Connectors, Infonex, and Information Security Forum conferences.
