Chad Adams, a Cyber Security Advisor for DHS Region Six with the Office of Cyber Security and Communications, has over 15 years’ experience in Cyber Security, threat mitigation, risk management, advanced IT support, and complex system design and support.

Mr. Adams attended Southeastern Louisiana University and holds a degree in Information Systems Management and Security. He also holds various industry standard certifications in complex system design, support, security, management, and IT support. Mr. Adams has previously worked for Quest Software, Inc. based in California and also Dell Computers in Round Rock, TX as a Unix/Linux complex systems agent supporting Government and Large Sector organizations.

More recently, Mr. Adams has worked in Government service as a team leader in cyber security assessments, federal cyber security audits, and threat mitigation. He now provides cyber related support, cyber security assessments, cyber outreach, incident coordination with State, Local, and Federal organizations and agencies for Critical Infrastructure companies and organizations throughout the country and DHS Region Six.
