Bill is the Director of Cyber Defense for CenturyLink, the third largest telecommunications company in the United States and a recognized leader in the network services market. CenturyLink provides data, voice and managed services in local, national and select international markets through its high-quality advanced fiber optic network and multiple data centers for businesses and consumers.
Over the past few years, Bill has focused on reduction of Mean Time to Detect through the continuous development and improvement of real-time alerting on cyber events utilizing Open Source, privately shared, and internally developed threat intelligence; external partnerships, and Incident Readiness Exercises (IREs) that simulate real attacks on the CenturyLink infrastructure.
The Cyber Defense team is spread across the United States; with members located in Monroe, LA, Denver, CO, Washington D.C., St. Louis, MO, Minneapolis, MN, and New Century, KS (where Bill is located).

Jesse Hood, Account Executive for Darktrace in Denver and the Rocky Mtn. territory. Previously helped some of the most rapidly growing start up software companies in the Denver area. Namely, OpenLogic Inc. (acquired by RogueWave), SNARE (intersect alliance), and now with Darktrace. Aside from business development for emerging cyber security companies Jesse also volunteers for the Loveland ski patrol during the winters.

Curtis W. Dukes is currently the Director of Information Assurance at the NSA. The IAD is the focal point for cyber security, cryptography, and information systems security for all national security systems. With 30 years at NSA, Mr. Dukes has served in a number of leadership and operational roles in both the Signals Intelligence and Information Assurance missions. Mr. Dukes was previously the Director of the NSA/CSS Commercial Solutions Center which addresses the strategic needs of the National Security community. Mr. Dukes received the rank of Meritorious Executive in the Senior Cryptologic Executive Service for sustained superior accomplishment. He also received the Meritorious Civilian Service for distinguished and unselfish service.
