Dr. Richard White Managing Director, Oxford Solutions  Dr. Richard White is a recognized industry expert in the fields of cybersecurity infrastructure, cybersecurity remediation, and cybersecurity program development. With over 25 years of experience in systems design, security technology implementation and security policy development and enforcement, Dr. White has developed innovative and affordable approaches for the rapid deployment of cyber threat detection and remediation technologies. Prior to his tenure at Oxford Solutions he served as the Chief information Security Officer for the United States Capitol Police where he coordinated and managed all aspects of advanced malware and advanced threat detection, incident response, and cyber remediation and containment efforts. Dr. White brings a multi-disciplinary and multi-institutional perspective to strategic consulting and cyber security strategy formulation for public and private sector clients. He currently serves as a member of the University of Maryland University College adjunct faculty core and is currently the course chair for the Cybersecurity and Information Assurance capstone course and degree program. Additionally, he served as a member of the legislative branch Chief Information Security Officers Council; and is a former member of the GovNet contributors and advisors group. In the government sector, Dr. White continues to provide strategic cybersecurity guidance to the United States Patent Trademark Office, United States Capitol Police, Department of Homeland Security, National Security Agency, and numerous other government agencies as they develop and refine their strategies for cybersecurity. Previously, Dr. White was a Lead Associate with Booz Allen Hamilton Inc., where he led two multidisciplinary teams: network modeling & simulation and high availability networking and resilience. Earlier in his career with Booz Allen Hamilton, he worked with the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency to provide systems engineering and information assurance solutions for the Intelligence Community, Department of Defense and civilian agencies of the federal government While at Mitretek Systems, a non-profit scientific research and technical assessment & evaluation organization, Dr. White led all technical efforts related to the evaluation and technical feasibility studies of project GovNet – his results were presented directly to Richard A. Clarke, National Coordinator for Security, Infrastructure Protection, and Counter-terrorism. Additionally, he contributed to Mitretek System’s interdisciplinary cybersecurity research program by developing methods to measure and model the effectiveness of cyber strategies and evolving technologies. Dr. White is a frequent keynote speaker on cyber security matters and regularly presents individual technical topics, as well as participates as an expert panelist at industry sponsored events. Dr. White has a Bachelor of Science from the University of Maryland University College. He earned Master of Science degrees in Telecommunications and Electronic Business in 2003 and a PhD with a concentration in Information Assurance in 2007.

Daniel W. Berger President & CEO, Redspin, Inc. Daniel W. Berger is the President and CEO of Redspin, Inc., a healthcare IT security assessment company based in Santa Barbara, CA. Redspin has provided HIPAA security risk analysis services to 120 hospitals, hundreds of clinics and many business associates over the past 2 years. The company helps healthcare organizations meet and maintain HIPAA compliance while fulfilling the security risk analysis requirement for “meaningful use” under the EHR incentive program. Most importantly, Redspin helps safeguard PHI from data breach. Mr. Berger is a frequent speaker at industry conferences on the topic healthcare IT security. He is also the author of Redspin’s  “Annual Breach Report – Protected Health Information” and “What Healthcare CEO’s Need to Know about IT Security Risk.” Prior to joining Redspin, he spent 25 years in the global networking industry holding senior sales, marketing and general management positions in companies ranging from the Fortune 500 to ground-floor start-ups. In 1996, Mr. Berger received a commendation from the Oklahoma City Department of Health for his participation in a conference “The Role of Technology in Disaster Preparedness.” He is an honors graduate of Colby College in Waterville, ME and was awarded distinction in his major field of study.

Andrew France OBE, CEO, Darktrace Andrew France joined Darktrace as CEO in January 2014 following a distinguished, 30-year career at the UK Government’s signals intelligence agency, GCHQ. As GCHQ’s Deputy Director for Cyber Defense Operations, Andrew has been at the forefront of the national cyber defense strategy, responsible for both policy and operational delivery. He is a recognized global leader in his field, with extensive experience in delivering technical innovation in high-pressure and secure environments. Andrew is a registered Incorporated Engineer, an elected member of the Engineering Institution of Great Britain, and a member of the Institute of Engineering and Technology. He was awarded an OBE for Services to the Ministry of Defense in 2005.  

Rob Sloan Cyber Thought Leadership, Dow Jones Rob Sloan spent almost a decade working for the British government investigating state sponsored cyber attacks, analyzing the evolving threat landscape and assessing attacker motivations before moving to the private sector. As Head of Response (later Response Director) at Context Information Security he built a team accredited by GCHQ as capable of dealing with the most sophisticated attacks aimed at the UK and beyond. Rob joined Dow Jones in 2014 in a Thought Leadership role where his work seeks to complement that of the Risk and Compliance team.

Amy has extensive experience in internal communications which drive cultural change and has been specifically focused on info security awareness and training for the last few years. Chris Gaebler Senior Vice President, Marketing, Kaspersky Lab North America As Senior Vice President, Marketing, Kaspersky Lab North America, Chris is responsible for overseeing all North American marketing activities including driving programs to improve customer engagement and experience with the brand and products. Chris brings 17 years of experience in marketing in the technology industry. Prior to joining Kaspersky Lab in 2012 Chris held senior marketing positions at Pulsepoint, a marketing technology company, Sony Electronics, and Accenture, a global management consulting and technology services firm. Scott Montgomery VP Public Sector Solutions, McAfee, Inc. Scott has been with McAfee since Fall of 2008. At McAfee, Scott runs worldwide government certification efforts, and works with the public sector teams and customers worldwide to design solutions to information security and privacy challenges using McAfee’s products and services or one of the more than 100 companies integrated with McAfee technology. Prior to the acquisition by McAfee, Scott ran worldwide product management and corporate strategy for Secure Computing, designing and building products like Sidewinder (now McAfee Firewall Enterprise), Webwasher (now McAfee Web Gateway), and Ironmail (now McAfee Email Gateway) to address customers’ security needs.

Myles Trachtenberg  SVP Product Commercialization, Pythian Prior to his role at Pythian, Mr. Trachtenberg served as the SVP and CIO for TravelClick where he was responsible for the development of new products and management of TravelClick’s technology infrastructure. Prior to joining TravelClick, Myles served as Register.com’s CIO, delivering domain name and hosting services to thousands of small businesses around the world.As an entrepreneur, Myles led Business Development at DigiCash, a startup focused on the next generation of incentive/loyalty marketing systems.
