Kris Lovejoy is currently IBM’s Global CISO, responsible for managing, monitoring and testing IBM’s corporate security and resiliency functions globally, where she acts as Chairman of IBM’s IT Risk Steering Committee, co-Chair of IBM’s Data Security Steering committee and member of IBM’s Enterprise Risk Steering Committee. Previously, Kris was the General Manager of the IBM Security Services Division, charged with development and delivery of managed and professional security services to IBM clients world-wide. Today Kris is a member of a number of external boards and advisory panels, including SC Magazine’s Editorial Board, and Grotech Ventures. Before joining IBM, she was the CTO, CIO and VP of Support and Services at Consul which was acquired by IBM in 2007 as well as VP of Security Assurance Services for TruSecure Corporation.

Charles Romine is Director of the Information Technology Laboratory (ITL). ITL is one of six research Laboratories within the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) with an annual budget of $120 million, more than 350 employees, and about 160 guest researchers from industry, universities, and foreign laboratories.
Romine oversees a research program designed to promote U.S. innovation and industrial competitiveness by developing and disseminating standards, measurements, and testing for interoperability, security, usability, and reliability of information systems, including cybersecurity standards and guidelines for Federal agencies and U.S. industry, supporting these and measurement science at NIST through fundamental and applied research in computer science, mathematics, and statistics. Through its efforts, ITL supports NIST’s mission to promote U.S. innovation and industrial competitiveness by advancing measurement science, standards, and technology in ways that enhance economic security and improve our quality of life.
Within NIST’s traditional role as the overseer of the National Measurement System, ITL is conducting research addressing measurement challenges in information technology as well as issues of information and software quality, integrity, and usability. ITL is also charged with leading the nation in using existing and emerging IT to help meet national priorities, including developing cybersecurity standards, guidelines, and associated methods and techniques, cloud computing, electronic voting, smart grid, homeland security applications, and health information technology
Dan Lohrmann Chief Security Officer & Chief Strategist, Security Mentor, Inc. Dan Lohrmann is an internationally recognized cybersecurity leader, technologist and author. Mr. Lohrmann is the Chief Security Officer (CSO) and Chief Strategist for Security Mentor, Inc. Security Mentor provides industry-leading security awareness training to organizations from Fortune 500 enterprises to state and local governments. Security Mentor, pioneer security awareness training employees love to take, uses interactive, highly engaging lessons to teach critical security skills in an easy-to-understand, fun format. Mr. Lohrmann leads Security Mentor’s executive and management services overseeing the development and implementation of Security Mentor’s cyber training, consulting and workshops for end users in the public and private sectors. Mr. Lohrmann has extensive experience advising senior leaders at the White House, National Governor’s Association (NGA), National Association of State CIOs (NASCIO), U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), federal, state and local government agencies, Fortune 500 companies, small businesses and non-profit institutions. Prior to Security Mentor, Mr. Lohrmann lead the State of Michigan’s cybersecurity and technology infrastructure teams serving as enterprise-wide CSO, CTO and CISO roles in Michigan. Mr. Lohrmann also oversaw the security awareness program for more than 50,000 employees. Under his leadership, the State of Michigan was recognized as a global leader in government technology and cybersecurity for more than a decade. The State of Michigan won numerous National Association of State CIOs (NASCIO) awards, including the 2013 Cyber Security award for the top security project in the nation – utilizing Security Mentor’s security awareness training as a cornerstone of Michigan’s Cyber Training 3.0 program. Mr. Lohrmann is also a writer, with regular columns, articles and blogs for many professional magazines, such as Government Technology Magazine, Public CIO Magazine, CSO Magazine, Computerworld Magazine and others. Dan has appeared on CSPAN, numerous national and regional radio programs, technology/security global webcasts and the evening news. He also serves on advisory boards on cybersecurity or Information Assurance (IA) programs at four universities. He is the author of two books – Virtual Integrity: Faithfully Navigating the Brave New Web, and BYOD For You: The Guide to Bring Your Own Device to Work. Mr. Lohrmann holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science (CS) from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland, and a Bachelor’s Degree in CS from Valparaiso University in Indiana.

Patrick Reidy Vice President, Global Cybersecurity, CSCPatrick Reidy leads CSC’s global cybersecurity business and direct strategy, including the development and management of cybersecurity technologies, services and solutions for enterprise and public sector clients. In this role, Mr. Reidy also focuses on industry-specific solutions and the development of cross-offering solutions that combine our Cyber, Big Data and Cloud capabilities to extend our market leadership and drive further innovation.
Drawing on more than 18 years of public- and private-sector experience and leadership in information assurance and cybersecurity, Mr. Reidy ensures the delivery of next-generation technology solutions to our global clients. He has been involved extensively in the investigation, analysis and mitigation of hundreds of security events, including insider threats and computer intrusion incidents.
In July 2013, Mr. Reidy joined CSC, serving as director of Global Information Assurance and chief information security officer. Prior to CSC, he was chief information security officer at the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) between 2011 and 2013, and a unit chief between 2008 and 2011. While at the FBI, Mr. Reidy led the development of the FBI’s Information Assurance and Advanced Cyber Adversary Protection programs focused on insider misuse. He also served as principal information security engineer at the MITRE Corp., chief engineer at Trident Data Systems (Veritec Inc.), and InfoSec engineer at Trusted Information Systems.
Mr. Reidy has a master’s degree in Information Security from Eastern Michigan University and a Master of Science in Strategic Intelligence from the National Intelligence University. He also holds several industry certifications including a CISSP.

Deborah A. Snyder, CISSP, CRISC, PMP Acting Chief Information Security Officer NYS Office of Information Technology Services Enterprise Information Security Office Deborah A. Snyder serves as Acting Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for the New York State Office of Information Technology Services (ITS). In her role, she directs the Enterprise Information Security Office’s comprehensive governance, risk management and compliance program. She is responsible for providing strategic leadership and vision, and assuring business-aligned, risk-based investments to maximize business opportunity and minimize risk. Ms. Snyder has extensive experience in government program administration, information technology and cyber security policy. She is a recognized industry thought-leader and active contributor to the security profession. She serves on the NYS Forum Board of Directors, and is a member of the Project Management Institute, InfraGard, Information Systems Security Association (ISSA), Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA), and the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA). She has published numerous articles, and co-authored the book entitled “SECURE – Insights From The People Who Keep Information Safe,” which offers industry leadership insights and perspective. She has been recognized for excellence in government services and outstanding contributions to the field of cyber security. She is a highly regarded speaker on topics critical to executive-level business and IT professionals.
J. Paul Haynes, P.Eng. Chief Executive Officer Mr. Haynes is a serial entrepreneur, who started his first company when he was completing his Masters. He joined eSentire in 2010 to bring his business growth, sales and marketing expertise to the organization. Under his leadership the firm has tripled in size and now is the primary security organization for a combined $1.2 trillion in AuM in the alternate asset management space. Mr. Haynes often speaks to executives and is able to bridge complex technical issues to the enterprise security risks asset managers must mitigate. Over the past 20 years prior to eSentire, he has started, financed and successfully sold a number of enterprise software businesses in sectors including energy, government, healthcare and engineering.
