Ivan Wallis is a Senior Systems Engineer with Venafi. He brings over 15 years of systems engineering, key management, and security training experience towards enabling customers and partners to effectively architect and deliver data security solutions for enterprise customers. Past experience includes lead solutions architect role at Thales e-Security and SSH Communication Security, as well as solutions architect at Entrust.  Based in the San Francisco Bay area, Ivan is an active member of the local ISSA and ISC2 security community.  Ivan holds a Bachelor of Computer Science and Information Systems from Carleton University, in Ottawa, Canada.

Les has over twenty years’ experience in information security.  He has held the position of Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for a credit card company and ILC bank, founded a computer training and IT outsourcing company in Europe, directed the security and network technology practice for Cambridge Technology Partners across Europe and helped several security technology firms develop their initial product strategy.  Les founded and managed Teradata’s Information Security, Data Privacy and Regulatory Compliance Center of Excellence and is currently Chief Security Strategist at Protegrity.

Les holds a BS in MIS, CISSP, CISA, ITIL and other relevant industry certifications.

David Aucsmith

David Aucsmith is a senior computer scientist and technology leader with over 35 years of computer and communications security experience. He has worked in a variety of security technology areas including secure computer systems, secure communications systems, security architecture, random number generation, cryptography and cryptographic systems, steganography and network intrusion detection. Aucsmith is a former officer in the U.S. Navy and has written extensively on cybercrime, cyber espionage and cyber warfare. He has been a representative to numerous organizations including the technical advisory boards of both the National Security Agency and the National Reconnaissance Office. He is co-chairman of the FBI’s Information Technology Study Group and a member of the President’s Task Force on National Defense and Computer Technology. Aucsmith was U.S. industry representative to the G8 Committee on Organized, Transnational, and Technological Crime during the Clinton administration. He holds 33 patents for digital security and holds a BS degree in biochemistry from the University of Georgia and MS degrees in physics from the Naval Postgraduate School and information and computer sciences from the Georgia Institute of Technology respectively. He currently lectures at the Naval Postgraduate School and the USAF Air Command and Staff College.

Tim Gallo

Tim Gallo is a Cyber Security Specialist with Symantec.  In his 17 years in IT Security he has been a consultant, engineer, operations manager, staff supervisor and intelligence product manager.  Today he focuses on building CyberDefense Centers for Symantec’s clients.  In his spare time he recently authored a book, published by O’Reilly on Ransomware, and works on building a variety of random objects, including mutant vehicles, objets d’art and other interesting things.  He can be reached @TimJGallo on twitter.

Mina is the program director for endpoint and mobile security, in this role he oversees product marketing and program direction for IBM’s portfolio of endpoint and mobile security offerings including BigFix. Prior to this, he held senior positions in IBM’s Software, Financing and Semiconductor units. Mina holds a BS in Electrical Engineering and an MBA from the University of Vermont.
