Dave Larson Chief Technology Officer and Vice President, Product, CoreroDave Larson, Chief Technology Officer and Vice President, Product is responsible for directing the Corero technology strategy as the company continues to invest in its next phase of growth; providing next generation DDoS attack and cyber threat defense solutions for the Service Provider and Hosting Provider segments. Larson brings over 20 years of experience in the network security, data communication, and data center infrastructure industries. Most recently, Larson served as Chief Technology Officer for HP Networking and Vice President of the HP Networking Advanced Technology Group. In this role he was responsible for creating the long-term technology vision and strategy for HP Networking across a variety of product divisions and geographies. Larson was instrumental in establishing HP’s leadership in SDN including driving the creation of the OpenDaylight open-source SDN controller initiative as one of the founding executive sponsors of that consortium along with technology leaders include Cisco, IBM, NEC, Citrix and the Linux Foundation.
Jesse Kornblum Security Engineer, Facebook Jesse Kornblum is a Security Engineer for Facebook. Based in the San Francisco Bay area, his research focuses on computer forensics and computer security. He has helped pioneer the field of memory analysis and authored a number of computer forensics tools. These tools include the Hashdeep suite of programs and the ssdeep system for fuzzy hashing similar files. A graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Mr. Kornblum previously served as a computer crime investigator for the Air Force and with the Department of Justice.
Jon Boyens Senior Advisor for Information Security, Information Technology Laboratory Department of Commerce’s National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Jon Boyens is a Senior Advisor for Information Security in the Information Technology Laboratory, within the Department of Commerce’s National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). He leads NIST’s Information and Communications Technology Supply Chain Risk Management Program and works on various policy and technical projects. Boyens helps develop and coordinate the Department’s cybersecurity policy among the Department’s bureaus. He represents the Department in the Administration’s interagency cybersecurity policy process. Boyens has worked on various White House-led initiatives, including, most recently, the Cybersecurity Executive Order and related work on Cybersecurity Incentives, Government Acquisition Policy and the Cybersecurity Framework.
