Peder Jungck Vice President & Chief Technology Officer, BAE Systems
Intelligence & Security Sector Peder Jungck is Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of BAE Systems Intelligence & Security (I&S) sector. BAE I&S employs more than 7,000 employees with core capabilities including integrated cyber security, information technology and intelligence analysis services which they provide to key intelligence professionals, federal officials, high‐level U.S. decision makers and troops deployed around the world. Peder moved from Silicon Valley to Virginia to join BAE Systems from Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) where he was a Technical Fellow and most recently served as the Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of the Cyber Security Group. He joined SAIC via the acquisition of CloudShield Technologies, Inc. which he founded in 2000 focused around trusted platforms for cyber security. He has been a CEO, venture capitalist and guiding architect at several networking and security companies, has earned 20 patents and is a co‐author of packetC the packet processing language for cyber security countermeasures and flexible network applications. Peder serves on several advisory committees including the Board of CyberMaryland, Clarkson University’s Dean’s Leadership Council and Cyphort’s Technical Advisory Board. Peder attended Clarkson University for electrical and computer engineering and received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Beloit College in mathematics and computer science.
