Nicholas has had an interest in the security industry since the late 90’s. Beginning his security career in physical security, he worked physical asset protection as well as executive protection details.

In 2004, Nicholas shifted toward digital security when he founded Shadowserver – a group of individuals who volunteered their time to combat malicious adversaries. Nicholas left Shadowserver in 2006 and moved on to work with federal, financial and law enforcement organizations. As a security researcher and penetration tester, Nicholas developed an interest in nearly every security discipline including Compliance, Vulnerability Management, Penetration Testing, Incident Response, Security Operations, Threat Intelligence and of course Phyiscal Security. Nicholas has held leadership positions with Department of Interior’s National Business Center and VMware’s Counter Threat Unit. He is recognized in the industry as a tactician and lateral thinker, interested in puzzles and extending capabilities of human, hardware and software solutions.

Nicholas’ responsibilities include threat intelligence, product security, corporate security and physical security for Anomali.
