Marilee Philen joined the BrandProtect Threat Analyst team in early 2015. At BrandProtect, she is engaged with threat analysis for financial institutions and other top tier clients, specializing in cyber and social media threats, and incident investigations.

Philen is an ex-USAF Intelligence Analyst, with a 20+ year career in intelligence collection, analysis, and reporting. She served with the U.S. Air Forces-Europe, U.S. Air Force Special Operations Command, the U.S. Strategic Command Center (USSTRATCOM). For these organizations, Philen gathered and analyzed social, cultural, telecommunication, media and military network information on nation states to support the achievement of multiple mission objectives.

Philen also complete a four-year-tour working for the Department of Defense Public Affairs Office. Following retirement from the Air Force, she spent ten years working with government and defense contracting firms.
