Chris Burchett serves as Vice President of Dell Solutions Engineering where he leads strategy, architecture, engineering and delivery of the Dell Security, Endpoint Lifecycle and Workforce Transformation solutions.
Prior to joining Dell, Chris was the founding technology leader and served as Chief Technology Officer of Credant Technologies, an INC 500 fastest growing company with over 5500% growth rate and a leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Mobile Data Protection before being acquired by Dell.
Prior to founding Credant, Chris worked at i2 Technologies, where he started as a developer and grew to lead engineering and architecture for the company’s intelligent supply/demand matching and demand fulfillment.
Prior to i2, Chris worked for E-Systems (now Raytheon) to design and develop real-time embedded systems using artificial intelligence for top-secret projects and unclassified work for medical imaging processing.
Chris received his Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Texas Tech University and his Master’s degree in Computer Science from Southern Methodist University, holds more than 12 patents with numerous patents pending. In 2016, Chris was recognized by Texas Tech University as a Distinguished Engineer and serves on numerous advisory groups.
