John Brown Asst. Special Agent in Charge – Cyber & Counterintelligence FBI  Chicago Division John Brown joined the Federal Bureau of Investigation in 1999 where over the past 16 years he has worked international terrorism, counterintelligence, criminal, and cyber matters. In 2014, Mr. Brown was promoted to Assistant Special Agent in Charge where he leads FBI Chicago’s Cyber and Counterintelligence operations in Chicago. An Army veteran of Afghanistan, Mr. Brown has also deployed to Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Russia, England, the Netherlands, United Arab Emirates, Maldives, Bangladesh, Denmark and Canada in support of the Global War on Terrorism.
