Alin Dobra CEO Tera InsightsDr. Alin Dobra is the co-founder and CEO of Tera Insights. Dr. Dobra grew up in the heart of Romania. He obtained his Ph.D from Cornell University in 2003 and is now a tenured Associate Professor at the University of Florida. Dr. Dobra’s interests in cybersecurity lead to the creation of tiCrypt, a complete private cloud platform specifically geared towards enterprises. In his research he pursues topics such as Large Data Analysis, Approximate Database Query Processing, and Foundations of Data Mining.
