Travis Lockman is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with over 15 years of experience, currently serving as the South Florida Strategic Account Security Engineer for Check Point Software Technologies, Ltd. He specializes in AI, automation, API integrations, and Hybrid Mesh cybersecurity, among other advanced technologies. In addition to his role, Travis is an active member of the Office of the CTO Cyber Evangelists, a group dedicated to thought leadership and innovation in cybersecurity through public speaking and research.

Travis began his cybersecurity career in 2009 as a Department of Defense Contractor and later as a Department of the Army Civilian at the United States Southern Command in Doral, FL. There he focused on cybersecurity engineering, incident response, data spillage remediation, and network defense. His expertise was instrumental in defending the command’s networks, and his outstanding contributions during live cyber defense military exercises earned him the Joint Civilian Service Achievement Award.

In 2015, Travis transitioned to the private financial sector to further challenge his skills. He worked as a Security Engineer and later as a Security Engineering Manager for over six years. In these roles, he specialized in firewall architecture, phishing response, endpoint security solutions, and automation using Python, among other critical cybersecurity technologies.

Today, Travis continues to leverage his deep expertise to drive innovation and strengthen cybersecurity defenses in an ever-evolving digital landscape.
