Kevin T. Reardon is the senior director of worldwide value consulting for McAfee. With more than 17 years experience in the IT security field, Kevin acts as a key advisor to top McAfee commercial and public sector customers. Prior to this role, Kevin led the McAfee product delivery and implementation teams for North America. Kevin has performed and advised on hundreds of engagements that outline a deliberate and controlled approach for the McAfee technologies implementation, risk management, and frameworks for audit and compliance.
Before joining McAfee, Kevin was vice president of operations and compliance strategy for Preventsys, which McAfee acquired in June 2006. He has also worked as a director and manager in several startups implementing HIPAA and financial services-related clearinghouse house software. Kevin also served as manager of the technology risk services group in Silicon Valley for PricewaterhouseCoopers. In addition, Kevin was a developer and QA software engineer for DoD contracts for IBM and Loral Federal Systems.
Kevin has advised numerous Fortune 500 companies on designing and implementing programs, strategies, and training for security systems and processes. He is an expert on Sarbanes-Oxley and CobIT, ISO, and FFIEC policies, and has provided forensics and expert assistance in several criminal investigations. Kevin was a contributing author for a comprehensive white paper on Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 security while with the Coopers & Lybrand LLP National Security Practice for Microsoft Corporation and was a contributing author to Microsoft Windows NT 4.0: Security, Audit, and Control published by Microsoft Press (1998).
Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems with a minor in Business from the University of Scranton.
