Roy Decker is a Senior Solution Architect with Sonatype specializing in DevOps and Open Source Software governance.  Prior to joining Sonatype in 2019, he has worked as a practitioner in engineering & amp; software development capacities in industries that include aerospace, defense, medical device, and financial services. Beyond his practitioner roles, he’s also enjoyed DevOps and Software Security Sales Engineering roles with Rational Software and IBM.  He has assisted both small and large enterprise customers in their DevSecOps journey to better automate and secure their software supply chains. Roy holds a BS degree in Aerospace Engineering from Saint Louis University.
