This ISAO, specifically catering to the unique requirements of an SMB owner nationwide, was originally formed and launched for business in 2017 after receiving support from a private cybersecurity firm and the non-profit organization that Mrs. Moss managed, the CiSMB (Cybersecurity Institute for Small and Mid-Size Business). The organization helped the SMB market with cybersecurity hygiene, by arming it with critical cybersecurity resources and education desperately overlooked in the SMB space.
Mrs. Moss has helped bolster the cybersecurity posturing of small, micro, and mid-sized businesses across the Nation and it is her mission is to advance all aspects of cybersecurity, technology, business and organizational resiliency, and security standards through the sharing of threat intelligence.
Prior to her years in the cybersecurity industry, Mrs. Moss was the Director of Communications for The Macalan Group, a holding company for five private LLCs, spanning globally and servicing both the commercial and defense markets.
Bonnie Moss has a master’s degree in journalism and a career background of crisis communications for over 20 years. She has worked for the Department of Defense, Home Depot Corporate, and the Defense Contracting industry, safeguarding their U.S. and International public affairs, and managing crisis communications matters.
