Women in CyberSecurity (WiCyS) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit member-based organization that is dedicated to bringing together women in cybersecurity from academia, research and industry to share knowledge, experience, networking, and mentoring. WiCyS helps build a strong cybersecurity workforce with gender equality by facilitating recruitment, retention and advancement for women in the field. The initiative was created through an NSF grant by Dr. Ambareen Siraj at Tennessee Tech University in 2013, and has grown into a wonderful alliance among academia, government and industry. Join WiCyS to attend virtual & in-person career fairs, network in an online member forum, participate in training programs, apply for scholarships, grants and awards, attend the annual WiCyS conference, take part in speaking and media opportunities, add resume to Job Board++, contribute to market research, partake in virtual summits, and more!
