Chris M. Roberts is a senior research engineer at the Georgia Tech Research Institute specializing in embedded firmware reverse engineering, vulnerability research and hardware analysis. He graduated from Georgia Tech in 2004 with a BSEE and from Mercer University with a MSEE degree in 2007. Mr. Roberts’ technical expertise expands over a wide spectrum including radio frequency system design, electronic and cyber warfare, hardware and firmware reverse engineering, vulnerability assessments of embedded systems specializing in over-the-air cyber exploits. He has investigated, discovered and exploited a wide array of devices including ARM processors, 8051 processors, FPGAs and DSPs.
