Bill Lapp Engineering Leader Zscaler
As the Leader for Solution Engineering and Architecture at Zscaler, Bill Lapp is responsible for all pre-sales engineering efforts in North and South America. His primary focus is assisting large enterprises to rethink how they approach network and business transformation through the use of security and policy. Bill has a varied background in software development, rocket science, crisis management, big data, communications, pre-sales, international government, education, large enterprise and startup environments which provides him with a differentiated and holistic view on technology applied to society and business. Bill is passionate about public speaking and has spoken on the topics of Innovation in Government, Enterprise 2.0, US-Africa business relations, and has guest lectured at Worcester Polytechnic Institute and Babson College on the topics of Corporate Entrepreneurship, VoIP, IT, Operations, and Social Selling. Bill had the privilege to attend the aforementioned institutions and earned BS and MS degrees in Computer Science and an MBA.
