With more than 20 years of experience in Security, Networking, Computer Science and Control Systems, Mr. Appleboum brings wide angle vision on Cyber Security threats and unique security solutions. In the early 90’s, after graduating from studies, Mr. Appleboum joined the Israeli Army Intelligence Corps(unit 8200) and served as a team leader and as Chief Architect focusing on design and development of Critical Infrastructure Network Monitoring and Security Systems. In 1998, Mr. Appleboum was one of the founders of WebSilicon, an Israeli company which focused on delivering advanced networking and security systems. As the Vice President of Research and Development, Mr. Appleboum was involved in design and implementation of more than 250 different systems for government agencies, integrators and vendors around the globe. In 2007, Mr. Appleboum became the Chief Technology Officer for the company and was responsible for the North American business activities, working with key customers to develop next generation network monitoring and security systems. In 2013, WebSilicon was acquired by Magal (NASDAQ: MAGS), one of the world’s largest physical security integration companies. After the acquisition, Mr. Appleboum was tasked with leading the integration of his company into the Magal group which included the rebranding of WebSilicon as CyberSeal. Mr. Appleboum served as the CTO for Cyber Security of Senstar Inc., the North American division of Magal, and relocated to the United States to work more closely with key customers and partners. As the CTO for Cyber Security, Mr. Appleboum was instrumental in all phases of the development of the Tungsten Cyber Security Appliance and the Rubidium Central Monitoring Systems, solutions that converge physical and logical security in a manner that brings a new level of cyber security to the market. In 2016, Mr. Appleboum co-founded Sepio Systems, a Cyber Security startup company that brings a new approach for defending supply chains against cyber-attacks. Mr. Appleboum serves as the Co-CEO of the company, responsible for North American operations.
